Ducks on The Prowl

Ok, this was my first serious attempt to get some quality shots out of my new gear. I had to keep the 70-300mm lens at 70mm because the ducks charged me and were at my feet before I could react. I had a bag full of oyster crackers and they knew it. They were so excited I had to wait a moment or two after slinging out the crackers for them to settle down and look up. I also used CS4 exclusively this time around as I'm feeling more comfortable with its use now. I still need to start using adjustment layers instead of editing the actual photograph. Hope you enjoy these. The grounds keeper was really laughing hard as I'd spread a handful of cracker then scramble to get off a few shots.

Lovely colours Bob - as you say - perhaps not the easiest lens to be using under the circumstances.
