Tripod Test

I took a ride to a favorite park to test out my new Manfrotto Tripod & Joystick head. The lighting wasn't ideal because it was nearly noon and the sun was nearly overhead. Still, I was testing equipment for the first time and more interested on how to carry the new equipment on my motorcycle. The setup was easy and the tripod proved very versatile. I flat fell in love with the joystick head. I tried out the horizontal bar setup on the tripod and found it very useful. You can also reverse the center column and hold your camera upside down between the tripos legs. This allows for photographs very, very close to ground level. All very cool. I hope you like the photo as it proves the valuse of a stable platform for sharp photos and good composition.

Re: Tripod Test

Nice shot Bob.

You will no doubt see the true benefit when you need slower shutter speeds. I'm thinking about all those great waterfalls.
