HDR Attempt

I'm still experimenting with HDR in CS5. This was taken on a tripod at F22. I like the overall exposure but there seems to be a lot of noise that I can't dissipate. Any ideas?

Re: HDR Attempt

I have Microsoft Digital Editing Suite 2006 which will reduce both luminant and chromatic noise.

Try this link for editing suite 10

Works well with 2006 editing suite

Re: HDR Attempt

I like the shot too Bob - can't really see noise at that size but did see some dirt spots on the lens (2 in the sky)

HDR often adds a 'dithering' so it could just be that.

Funny you mentioned the dirt spots Azz because I noticed my circular polorizer was filthy. I did a thorough cleaning of the filter & my 35mm lens and continued shooting. This may have been some of the early takes. Good catch.

Also I've learned since yesterday the major reason for the photo not being sharp is that I shot all three photos in autofocus. Even though I used a remote trigger the three different focus points caused ghost imaging. Next time I'll focus once then put the lens in manual focus. It is a learning experience. The same manual focus applies to panoramic series.
