Search & Rescue Dogs

On a motorcycle ride to Multnomah Falls yesterday I happened to bump into a collection of Search & Rescue Teams that gathered there to raise funds and to clean the Falls area. The most interesting attractions were the dogs used in rescue attempts. There were two bloodhounds in the group that had very expressive faces. I couldn't help myself. I also captured a mother & child looking intently at the dogs.

Re: Search & Rescue Dogs

Yes the colours are super! How disappointing to see a working dog with a prong collar on though.

I'm not very knowledgeable about dog gear Dawn. I'm familiar with the term "choker collar". Is that the same thing? This was a public rescue team demonstration at a public place with lots of little kids. Maybe the collars were precautionary?
