Road Trip

My friend Warren & I took a spontaneous road trip that would take us 700 miles before it ended. We were headed to Alturus, California when a freak snow storm cause us great anguish. Warren drove over what he thought was a lump of snow. It turned out to be a fallen boulder from the mountain to our left. The rock tore a gaping hole in his car's oil pan disabling the car instantly. We would up marooned in Klamath Falls, OR for two days awaiting the new oil pan at a Ford dealership.

While on that seriously compromised snow-covered road I snapped a photo of that winter wonderland in front of us. I must admit it was quite beautiful.

Re: Road Trip

The original snow picture had a snow-out sky, completely white due to the heavy snow. I used a cool filter called Graduated Blue in a set of PhotoTools by OnOne software. I was really pleasantly surprised at the excellent results. This filter may save a lot of overcast blown out skies. I cant tell it wasn't in the original, can you?
