Aargh! Bah! ... help! :-)

Teach me not to go out without my proper camera... basically I quite liked this, just shot it a couple of hours ago togging around the city... shot it ion my G11 compact, and hence didn't see the reflection until now. Only had one chance to shoot him and wanted the eye contact, he turned, I shot it, he moved... and on the G11, could only get one frame off.

Only just played with it a little in Lightroom making it a little harsher and more saturated... but the reflection totally blows it... my PP skills aren't good enough to do anything about it (yet)...can only think of making dark glasses but it's not the same... PP or bin (! ) you decide (there is also a man through the glass behind, no problem getting rid of him but I haven't manipulated yet.)

Well, I wouldn't have the foggiest on how to fix that but FWIW I really rather like it anyway, it has a bit of a piratey feel! ;D

Re: Aargh! Bah! ... help! :-)

It would be hard work recreating the eye behind the reflection, and making the other a reflection would probably lose the feel. Still a good shot

Oooh... now there's a thought, making both a reflection - it'd be seriously creepy!

Re: Aargh! Bah! ... help! :-)

Argh!!!

It can be done, but it's a lot easier if you have another pic that you can clone from, was it shot in RAW? It's also tedious . I can see most of his eye behind the reflection, so you may be able to do it, but is it worth your time and effort, depends how much you love the image

There are loads of tutorials on You Tube for this sort of thing, if you want to give it a go

OR... You could become inventive, and give him an eye patch over that eye Though that is sort of cheating, as your adding something that wasn't there, and I suppose that goes against the idea of street photography.

If it was mine, I'd probably leave it as it is.

Best plan! It's a shame, but think it wouldn't look right PP'd either. Do love the Robin Gibb idea, or how about Elvis "the Vegas Years" type sunglasses

Re: Aargh! Bah! ... help! :-)

It's doable to copy the other eye and use this to get rid of the reflection.

Other option is half black the glasses, all seen the odd pair of specs that have one blacked out lens. Had a quick play and gives the pic an eerie feel!!

Agree with that, and convert to mono, might look really menacing!
