presumably you are talking in photographic terms otherwise having the very occassional lager is very acceptable with nice company.
I tend to go for the wildlife/countryside aspect of photography, but that may just be because I live in the countryside. The challange is harder to get a good wildlife picture than say a static photo where you have as much time as you like to get a good photo.
But that is again personal choice if that answers your question.
