What scanner??

I have loads of pics of family members, old pets etc, some of them nice snapshots, anyway, I want to put a photobook together of my old collie, as it is coming up to her first anniversary of her death. But a lot of the older pics are on film, can I get a decent scanner for under £100?? Nothing fancy, just does good scans of photos.

Thanks

Azz sorry if I have put this in the wrong section

Re: What scanner??

Considering a scanner, what about trying to take a digital photo of the film prints you already have? don't cost anything and worth a go.

Failing that I have found one scanner is as good as another and the more expensive the more complicated to operate and set up. If I may I suggest you take a sample photo to a shop and try the scanners with it first

Re: What scanner??

I have tried taking pics of them but the quality isn't so good. I do have lots and lots of old pictures, so I would use the scanner. I am going to do some research on different brands, let you know when I have found a few I like

Some places might do film scanning for you... could save you having to buy one?
