Anyone used it? What's it like?

Re: Free HDR Program: Picturenaut

Well here's a quick go with Picturenaut:

Not really sure what I'm doing yet tho tbh! 3 Exposures were used, -1, 0, +1 then merged and tone mapped in Picturenaut.

Re: Free HDR Program: Picturenaut

There isnt enough contrast in that pic to HDR really Azz...try and pick a picture with lights and darks, clouds...buildings ..reflections ...they tend to work better

Re: Free HDR Program: Picturenaut

I'll have a go tomorrow as it's dark now guys. How many exposures and at what levels do you normally do?

Do you create one exposure (and use software to make the variations) or take multiple? What about movement I have it on burst but there was still movement lol :-/

Re: Free HDR Program: Picturenaut

Had a quick go with the photomatix plug-in:

I see how it's different now, photomatix seems to add a texture to give it that effect. Will try and take some shots when the suns out and see how they turn out
