What can I do to save this?



An otherwise pretty good shot but for the snow flake in the way lol!

It looks similar to having "Flare" on the lens. I don't honestly thing there is much you can do to remove it without a lot of work and it would even be doubtful then. I don't think you would get the face correct.

The answer would have been to take continuous shots and picked out the best.

Do you have photoshop ?

You could try to 'burn' the area to darken it or use the clone / heal tool to overlay some dark hair over the light bit.

I've tried the healing tool didn't have much effect. What is 'burning'? Great effort Moonstone how did you do it?
