Re: What pictures do you look at on Yop?

Not everyone has the time, confidence, or want, to do that, BC. (ang on haven't we been ere before? )

Yes it would be nice if every member posted X amount of pics and made X amount of comments a day - but life's not like that. Forums are made up of lots of different people, who'll use the site for different reasons. Not all will be as active, or log in everyday, not all will be skilled or knowledgeable enough (or feel they're not) to comment.

As Admin I completely appreciate that, and the only thing we can do is make them feel more comfortable in participating, or make them 'want' to do it - not pressurise them into it or tell them they must (that'll just push them away). And we should appreciate that not everyone can either, either because of what I've already mentioned or time constraints or other reasons that we may not know.

You always seem to worry about these things BC - just chill

The site is actually doing really well for one with such a small amount of members, very very very few forums make it off the ground because there are soooo many out there now - so you are all doing very well. Quit worrying and just enjoy doing what you do, and let others do the same too

I guess the site will get busier once we launch our front-end, but in the meantime... enjoy the nice tranquillity

Re: What pictures do you look at on Yop?

It wasn't a pressure thing or to make people feel uncomfortable, so sorry if it comes over that way. The original thread was just to see what sort of things people were attracted to and there is quite a diverse range. I had an idea many people here arrived from from Dogsey or via recommendations of friends of same but I was suprised to see a number of people that don't follow the animal pictures or dogs. The site seems to have picked up recently so that's good.

However, I still hold some opinion, albeit not as strongly as maybe it's interpreted that if you have the time to post pictures here, monitor your own thread and respond in it, it would be of benefit to help others too, especially as one or two of the people I am thinking of do some good work.

I'll chill...but the site needs informative feedback and activity and a diverse range of pictures to keep it engaging for all and being so few in number we need contributions.

Re: What pictures do you look at on Yop?

I tend to look at whatever catches my eye from the new posts. Then its macro and animals that I tend to look at

I wish I had time to be really active on here but sadly with work, family and dogs I don't have much free time to get out and about with the camera
