Re: What pictures do you look at on Yop?

I try to look at all of them in the hope that I might learn something. Bottom of the list is dog pictures, I'm not a dog person and generally they don't take to me. Have been bitten twice by roaming dogs, once seriously (both times German Shepherds). At the moment I'm leaving my macro lens on the camera as this is an area in which I sadly lack experience.

Re: What pictures do you look at on Yop?

I view all images as I feel I can learn so much from everybody here. I rarely comment, as in giving a critique, becasue I don't know what I'm talking about (yet!). I do sometimes say if I like a picture - perhaps something I should do more of
I do find I'm more interested in macro and wildlife stuff, probably least interested in portraits/people either way I still like to view them all.

The only reason I've not posted much lately, is time. The time I spend on here is usually spent trying to learn something from others I will try and change that soon thoough.
I should have another couple of lenses to play with in the next few weeks so I hope to bombard you all with pictures

Re: What pictures do you look at on Yop?

I try and look at most pictures, the ones I don't bother with are repeats of the same thing (sorry all you pet owners). Once you have seen one you have seen them all(bench photos exempt of course).

Re: What pictures do you look at on Yop?

Repeats of the same thing never bother me - especially if it's obviously someone's 'area' so to speak. I think it's nice to see people improving in one area.

I look at all the Landscapes, and Portraits, and wish there was more still lifes posted to look at.

I like looking at animal shots, even though I am truly rubbish at animal pics

Re: What pictures do you look at on Yop?

I tend to do a search for todays posts and go through that way.

I don't tend to comment on the people shots, although I do look at them.

Re: What pictures do you look at on Yop?

Like everyone I do have my favorite areas. I love nature, landscapes and weather type of photography. I've come to love plant and macro photography. I do look, on occasion, at all the sections but shy away from the animal stuff. There are 3 categories for animals and not one for flowers (hint).

When I have the time I look at everything and comment when opinions are asked for or I feel I can help someone improve their craft. I'm knowledgeable about computers & graphic software so I can see possibilities to make things better.

I've been impressed by a lot of folk's work on this site and have seen many mature quickly. Bravo and thanks for letting us help and more praise for listening and applying those suggestions.

Mainly I just want to have fun. I love photography, I love nature and I'm surrounded with beauty and the means to enjoy it.

Re: What pictures do you look at on Yop?

I love looking at the people photography, though I try to look through all sections. sometimes I get riddled with guilt as I'm not that big on commenting on photos though I appreciate everyone's submissions

Not aiming this at Dan but general point, if you post pictures and want C&C, then give something back and help others too.
