Re: Pirate software - would you use it ?

the whole pirating question revolves around rights. The software producer has the rights to royalties as does the creative talent behind music cds. The area gets gray when it comes to the printed word however. Magazines sit all over public places like doctor's offices, train stations, libraries. Newspapers are everywhere yet we all read them regardless if we paid for them or not. If I buy a piece of software & register it as long as I don't sell it I feel I should be able to give a copy to a friend or relative. I don't suggest we trade it but freely give it to others with no strings attached. I feel it becomes my property once I buy it.

Re: Pirate software - would you use it ?

I have in the past and possibly in the future but its only when what ever software is given to me, I dont go out looking for it. I do think alot of software is overly expensive though.
