Pirate software - would you use it ?

Following on from bob,s posts about useful software, it got me thinking, would you consider using pirated software ? Ill hold me hands up and admit to using PS7 which a mate of mine downloaded for me years ago, but have you or are you using pirated stuff ? obviously you don't have to answer it, I just thought it might make for an interesting debate, btw im using elements 4.0 now and still cant work it out

Re: Pirate software - would you use it ?

Hi Guys - just a quick note to say that while it's ok to discuss the topic, please don't post any info on how to get pirated software, as that's against our rules. Thanks.

Re: Pirate software - would you use it ?

Guys - Girls - I don't think it is sensible to discuss this matter. We have no control over who reads the forum.

It must be stressed that 'YOP' does not support or condone the use of illegal software, nor will we entertain discussion about where to get it from, or any discussion offering any software that may be considered illegal.

Ok, sorry guys, didnt intend to drag you all into a heap of trouble or anything, it was just a hypothetical question I suppose and maybe I should have added that to the OP.

Re: Pirate software - would you use it ?

You can still discuss the matter, but from a legal standpoint we can't allow any posts that tell people how to get such material, or support people doing so in anyway (because we don't). However in the interest of free speech you are free to discuss the topic itself. Just remember you never know who's reading, and saying you use such software on a public forum could cause problems for you.
