YoP ID Cards?

We often get people saying we should get things like badges and t-shirts done with our logo on, but what about something that may be of use to us?

It's just an idea, but with photographers getting treated like crap all the time, would it help if we had some sort of ID badge?

I've asked around and I think I can get these made at credit card size plastic for about £8 and thought we could sell them on for anyone interested for £10 plus £2 postage.

They would include the url to your profile along with your name and photo. So could serve two purposes - show others you are a 'serious' photographer, and if they want to verify or need to make a record for any reason, they can note your profile address

Whaddya think? Just an idea!

Re: YoP ID Cards?

Yeah i like that idea. Maybe you could include an address to photographers rights, so those of us who are questioned can point "Jo Blogs" in the direction for more info?....

Re: YoP ID Cards?

Not sure how we could incorporate that tbh K or whether we should get into the legal side of things (what if things change?) :-/

I think the card itself will speak volumes tho

Re: YoP ID Cards?

While it is a nice idea, it carries no weight, it would be nice if it included some official photography accreditation.

I find swinging my tripod about carries a bit of weight
