no I don't want one lol I just wanted to ask the question, as Jols stated in the other thread that she had an up to date CRB check, and I thought it might be helpful to others if she told us how she went about getting one done! sorry I have NO intrest in going into a room of snotty nosed devil spawn! lol I have 3 of my own and thats more than enough!!!

who did you get your CRB with then Jols? with this working with schools lot? or someone else? thanks for the help on behalf of anyone nuts enough to want to undertake snotty nosed Devil spawn! lol

so is that only valid for that school? or can you use it elsewhere? how long does it last? And how much did they charge you? Thanks once again my eyes are being opened

CRB checks are funny old things.

Only really valid for that school but if another school wants one they will have to pay for it as im not lol

A lot of school togs never get asked for one as they are never left alone with the kids thus you dont need one.

Some people including me dont think they are worth the paper they are written on cause it is only a check on things you have not been caught for.

and

if you have been caught for something you could just give a false name or date of birth, and get a clear check that way.

and you could do something bad the day after the check has been done.


there is a lot of controversy on CBR checks

I wouldn't say that they are not worth the paper they are written on, as if you where to do something stupid within a three year period the Organization who had you CRB checked would be notified of your offence, so they then have the opportunity to refuse to let you work for them.
