I don't know about you, but I'm having so much fun doing this

Which one are you on about, the globe effect-ish one, if so, I went into Gimp, got the picture up, then on the line on top, clicked on Filters, then went down the list to Glass effect and then clicked on Apply lens. Then the colouring I did in Picasa

If it's the last one I did, I can't remember but it was one of the things in Gimp under the filters section.

I have no idea how I got anything.......LOL. I did it all in paint net and just kept hitting buttons.....I`ll haveanother look later and see if I can find the button.....

Mel, this is an excellent thread and really gives you chance to play around with the functions of various software. All of our accidental results could hopefully be achieved again if a specific effect was needed with future photos.

Little hint - always keep notes of what you have done and the settings you used - its great for when you want to achieve tht same effect again and later you can turn them into "actions"
