Re: Rock the frock

Oh well done!!!!!

Can't wait to get frocking

I think the key to this ,is to find people who are as up for it as you

It is going to be a laugh I am a bit concerned as I have never really done a portrait, but it is a friend so if it is a disaster , it won't matter
So the next few weeks I am going to be raidng the local libray for portrait books, and you tube and the internet ......Thank you, You Tube

Keep on Frocking !!!!!!!

Re: Rock the frock

nothing apart from the obvious.

but others will say you need this and that and that and this.

if you can take a good photo you can take it.

composition is most important in wedding pics and good natural light.

Re: Rock the frock

MS - if your shooting outside you shouldnt need much, maybe a reflector and flash to fill in any shadows. Time of day is important. Avoid mid-day and aim for early morning or late evening - the light is less harsh = less harsh shadows, and has a gorgeous golden glow to it

Use your imagination and take your time. If you are unsure about exposures, take a look at bracketing your shots, as this will give you a choice of 3+ exposures to choose from. Have fun, and if you start to feel nervous, take a step back, compose yourself and shoot

Have fun xx

Thanks KK

We are going to try it out at Beeston Castle, well, that is the plan

I am a mixture of nerves and excitement just thinking about it.
That's great if I don't have to really buy anything else, as I am saving up for a set of lights at the moment I was intending on getting a flash anyway.

Great advice about the light too, and bracketing my shots.
Going to buy a couple more CF cards too.
Thank you. xx
