And to think its only a jumping spider, they do not tend to get very big

I know and that's way closer than I want to get to anything I am not married to.

Am looking at the 150 on a more normal lens for my requirements. There are parts of an insect that I would rather remain a mystery to me if I ever wish to sleep again.

Reminds me...

I had to do an emergency stop the other day when a big spider walked across the dashboard right in front of the wife, boy did she squeal.

Back on topic: I have the Canon 100mm macro and love it, but I have seen some of the shot from the Sigma and they look just as good.

They are such a fun lens too.
