Believe it or not Jols as a kid my nickname was "Congo Bob". That was a character on a black & white TV show shown for kids on Saturday.

Re: Two More pieces of kit arrived

I like the look of that bag Bob, I've got an ageing Tamrac which I need to replace at some point soon and that looks to be just the job.

I like bags like this that allow complete customization. All the compartments break down to removeable, repositionable dividers. I also like the gel pads on the back that add comfort. My netbook fits easily in the compartment designed for that use. I think I'll get a lot of use out of this bag.

Re: Two More pieces of kit arrived

In the picture you posted, I liked the idea of the strap that goes across the camera, because I frequently use my bag while riding my mountain bike and dread the thought of the camera falling out should the main zip fail under all that weight.

I can relate as I ride motorcycles and want the secure strap in place. That's also why I use metal screw-on lens caps. I don't want debris entering the front of the lens when the squeeze caps come of your lenses in the camera bag. I'm willing to take the 5 seconds it might take to unscrew the cap.
