40d new firmware 1.0.5

Just some minor fixes but probablly best to update anyway.

Got it DJ Thanks a lot, much appreciated , I had to fiddle about a bit cos I did'nt see the download bar below the licence agreement at the bottom of the screen.

I saved it to my HD then loaded it into the CF card, it went in with no probs, I assume you've upgraded as well, what difference does it make ?

Yes Nero, I got it the first day it was released (9 or 10 days ago I think).At first glance the firmware only appears to fix a few language bugs, and something about images being skipped but this one is an important fix. There are supposedly hidden fixes too that are not mentioned by Canon.

I always keep up to date with firmware whether it's for my camera or my telescope mount hand control unit (this one is very important for me), and the same with computer bios unless it's in beta.
