Hooded Crow - a beautiful bird :)

These are some of my favourite photos taken so far with the D300s/Bigma combo - and of one of my all time favourite birds too. I missed them greatly when I moved back to Wales - and now I'm happy as we see them nearly every day!

This stunning specimen was in Timoleague - sitting on a wall, noshing on something.

Re: Hooded Crow - a beautiful bird :)

I notice that once again Photobucket has stolen some of my sharpness. I assure you they are sharper on my pc *scowl* Should have used DA but just haven't had time to upload them there yet.

Re: Hooded Crow - a beautiful bird :)

Yep - always. It doesn't resize them afterwards at all - they're just never as sharp - may have to start overcompensating by oversharpening :/ but then... I bet knowing my luck - they'd look too sharp!

Yes, I like the hoody's too. I've yet to get a decent image of one though.

Re: Hooded Crow - a beautiful bird :)

Thanks DJ! They're one of our most common birds here - next to Rooks! I love seeing them - they add a touch of class to the corvid bunch!
