Re: Enjoying the sunshine

Thank-you Carole - #3 is my favorite too! Can you tell me if they are looking really over saturated? The only reason why I ask is because im on our new laptop and the colours are really strong compared to my PC...

Edits look good Sam, consistent colours, quality work. Your PP work was always good anyway. I like the light touch you and Moonie seem to be able to master much better than me.

Re: Enjoying the sunshine

I think all these are lovely, 3 and 5 are very good, but for me I think 6 is brilliant, it just seems to have that something special about it,

Re: Enjoying the sunshine

NUmber 6 and number 3 for me.

pp is good looks a tad bright on my screen [could be the screen though].

I may steal the idea of number three if you approve.

Re: Enjoying the sunshine

Lovely set - Continuity is fine and I really like the 'washed out' style. The only one I'm not sure about is number 3 as the inclusion of all the bright sky makes me feel it's too over exposed even though that's obviously the style.

Number 7 would be my pick.

Re: Enjoying the sunshine

Hi Daisy

I had a quick look on my laptop earlier and was underwhelmed but thought it may be the laptop screen which are notorious for giving bad viewing results if view even a little from the optimum angle.

I am on the desktop now and I find that the greens are, to my eye, over saturated yet the main subject, some great poses by the way, seems to be bleached out especially the skin tones which are turning to white in places.

Now I must admit that I am not a great lover of the genre of image which is very brightly lit leaving very little detail in the subject or background. Forget what it is called, high something or other. I feel that you may have fallen between two stools with these images and if that was the effect you were aiming for I think the backgrounds should have been toned down.

Must say though that you have got a great model there and he seems to be enjoying be photographed

Hope you don't mind me voicing my thoughts.

Steve
