In Jesmond Dene

Had a nice walk round Jesmond Dene, Newcastle.

In the heart of Newcastle : http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&so...,0.255432&z=13

Made for an interesting walk with a double buggy inclusive of sprogs....

Entrance :

Old Mill :

Pavillion :

There's a huge selection of bridges too :

A superb (read expensive) restaurant :

And loads of other old buildings :

And some crazy roots :

All in the heart of Newcastle. Madness.

Re: In Jesmond Dene

This is a very good set of photos. I like the building photos better than the bridge or stream shot. Excellent composure, exposure & contrast. Love the skies although I would have removed a couple of power lines. Good job!

Re: In Jesmond Dene

Gotto agree about the buildings over streams Bob.

I don't "do" photos of people or scenery really. Buildings, architecture etc i can do.

Re: In Jesmond Dene

I keep working on my landscapes involving moving water in streams & waterfalls but have a lot to learn. I prefer very old buildings such as barns or old houses. I love the textures and weathered wood.
