Left or Right eye with viewfinder?

Hi All ,

Am I odd .

Just lately I seen many groups of photographers and they are using their right eye , but I use my left and always have done . Sometimes this can be a pain , as I am mainly interested in action photography and can only see the action through the view finder .

What do you use ? .... Left or Right

Just interested

Roy

Re: Left or Right eye with viewfinder?

I'm massively short-sighted in my right eye, so my left goes to the viewfinder, even when I have my contact lens in. Just habit.

Re: Left or Right eye with viewfinder?

Right I think (don't have camera on me right now!), I find it very hard to shut my right eye and keep my left open!

Left because my thumb then covers my right, making it less of a squint.

Re: Left or Right eye with viewfinder?

Depends on which side you want to put your nose. Oh yes a very important point is the nose and which side to place it, it all depends on which hand you use to blow it and which hand for the camera.
