Dreamscape

This waterfall is literally a 5 min walk from home, and the first time i have photographed it.
The reason why i have cropped this is because all the highlights above and below the fall had blown. A common fault when i attempt this subject.
Any tips will be greatly received
Another reason why i have submitted this is that someone once doubted the authenticity regarding it as not being my own work! Until that is.......I showed them the original

Re: Dreamscape

Try bracketing for 3 shots + and 3 shots - then put them together as a HDR without colour mapping it - or overlay them in Photoshop.

Re: Dreamscape

If you shoot in RAW it acts as a kind of negative for the "proof" you may need. Also EXIF data attached to the file expands the proof by identifying the hardware & software used on the photo. New DSLRs, such as my Nikon D90, allow a GPS accessory to even imprint the exact location.

I do like the photo as it reminds me of sheer rock face runoff so present here in the US Pacific Northwest. Good work!
