Bicycle, Blue Door

Not sure if this is the right place for either of these - sorry if not.

Took these in a local village this week, but not sure if either work or if it is trying to make something out of nothing?

Love them both, especially the second one. Great colours and composition. I want to knock on the door and see who is inside!

Re: Bicycle, Blue Door

Mmm - seconded - I like both - but the second has the edge for me. Personally, I would have perhaps cloned out the wire to the window - but I can see why some may leave it in.

Re: Bicycle, Blue Door

I like them both, but I like what you have done with the first one, is it an effect from PS?

Re: Bicycle, Blue Door

Many thanks, everyone!
Zoundz, I did try to take the wire out at first, but it got way too much for my limited PS skills, so I took the line of least resistance!
H, apart from juggling the colour a bit, the first one does have a texture layer over it (taken from the door in the second one) done in PS. My first attempt at using a texture, so plenty of practice needed!
