Re: Redwood tree (Muir Woods CA USA )

I've been to California twice to see the redwoods. The first time I went to Crescent City and the second to Fortuna, CA and the Highway Of The Giants. You did a great job of capturing your specimen sinc I don't believe it's possible to get the entire tree in one shot. It would be one heck of a panoramic. Well done!

Majestic. How tall would you say these trees are, Bazza.

Azz

It was very dark at the base of the trees so it was better to show the trees than the sky and I havn't photoshopped the picture.
Don't forget I was limited as to what to take , infact even choosing which lenses to take made me change my mind several times. In the end I took camera+ 3 lenses to try and cover most things and a camcorder.
