Why not pick them up and put them on a white piece of paper (with no spots/dirt on it etc) and try taking some interesting photos like that?

I would agree - it's a bit flat and could do with a bit of contrast/vibrancy boost

Good on you, too many take things too seriously these days, possibly due to the way life is with financial worries and family concerns etc.
The picture was taken a bit "tongue in cheek" so to speak as nobody has posted so many dead wasps before to my knowledge.
Dawn -My wife Sue and myself have spent quite a bit of time trying to prevent these insects from stinging us in the office by use of a fly/wasp spray aerosol. This was just a small collection of the past few days.
