14.1 mile cicular walk from my front door and back

My wife had to work today so I cancelled my boxercise gym class and put my walking boots on. A small bag with a snack and a drink and my camera and off I went. Set off at 9.00am and returned at 2.20 pm, 14.1 miles later according to the GPS. The variety of wildlife was lovely.

1)

2) Flies on a sawn down tree.

3) Yellowhammer.

4) Shelduck

5) Deer

6) Grebe

7) Resident of the World Horse Welfare (WHW)

8) Lonely old job.

9) Boxing Hare

10) Another hare

11) Dandelion Seed

12) Taken Friday evening not on todays walk.

What a lovely mix of shots.

It was certainly a walk worth doing for the photography at least.

Re: 14.1 mile cicular walk from my front door and back

I saw loads and loads of hares and took quite a few shots but many were quite a way off.
Phil I wasn't in a hurry on the walk. The GPS said I'd walked for about 4hrs 11 mins at an average moving speed of 3.3 mph and been stationary for about an 1hr 10 mins. I took about 130 shots, but pruned these down significantly.

Laura the hares were lovely.

It was a lovely day Ken, not a cloud in the sky when I set off. Burn't my forehead a little even though I'd put factor 20 suncream on.

Can someone correct my spelling of Circular in the title please.

Thanks for looking and taking the time to comment. I know there were a lot of shots but it was still less than 1 per mile.

The Shelducks were quite shy and were grazing in a large field with the free range chickens, must have been 20-30 of them in total, they didn't hang around too long.
