Hello guys...

This is the first picture I am sharing in the YoP forums for getting your valuable comments which will help me become a pro one day.

Please know that I took this picture with 5mp phone camera and did some editing with photoshop.
Maybe later I will tell you my point of view about this pic.

Thank you

Some lovely colours in that Shahoo. I think the composition and framing could have been better - take a look at our Photography Basics guides (right hand side >>>) there are some excellent tips there

Re: 1. What do you think? (misty sea)

Some folk swear by the rule of thirds and you have got it spot on with the horizon (about exactly a third up) and the sign poking out of the water a third across.

Composition wise then - you've nailed it !

Exposure wise it's also good. So easy in low light for those white clouds to burn out but they're still retained.

It's a bit grainy but that's another issue.

I like it !
Kit 1
Canon 1D Mark 3
Canon EF 17-40mm f/4 L USM
Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM
Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L IS USM
Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II
Kit 2
