Busy, Busy Bumblebees

I have been stalking bumblebees, they are tricky little blighters, go to press the button, and off they whizz

Nice shots MS... but I hate wasps and bees and anything that stings! I run a mile when I see them Don't mind them on screen tho

Yeah Moon...you're braver than I am...I don't like bees and wasps either

I really like shots 1 & 6 though, with no.1 being my favourite
I really like the level of detail in this shot...especially in the wings

Thanks guys.

Bees don't bother me, I find if you leave them alone, they are cool, wasps I try to avoid though as I am allergic to them

One of these Bees was like Rambo Bee, huge

Gosh the size of that pollen ! He certainlly have been busy lol Took a pic of a bee the other day but it didnt come out well ! Cool stuff MS

3 and 5 are my favorites ... they make me want to take my camera on a bee shoot

I love taking bee shots At least with bees you KNOW they wont sting you unless they have to ..cos they die when they sting you ..it's wasps you have to watch out for

I'm the same, I love bees but am not so keen on wasps

Some nice shots there MS! I have to shoot bees hand held because as you said, as soon as you get the tripod set up they are gone

What lovely pics . I did take some bee pics last year and they came out semi ok lol i must hunt them down
