In a world of his own

I'm not to sure about this one so feedback will be interesting.

I used three lights to light this. One for the lamp, one to to fill the back of the tv and one softbox to light him.

Re: In a world of his own

Excellent lighting, pose/subject Jonni - I would just clone out the person on the right, the image would be much stronger without it, imo.

Re: In a world of his own

Cheers azz. I was trying to show his mum giving him a telling off and he being In his own world. I shall try that.

Re: In a world of his own

That's quite a difficult thing to capture in a photo Jonni looking back I do get a hint of it ...but maybe not quite as much as you might have wanted?

I still reckon it would work better without - because it's such a great image in itself (being a gamer I recognise that 'zomg'/'in the zone' look )

Re: In a world of his own

I definitely got the mum telling him off as soon as I saw it I think though if she had been more in the frame it may have helped. Great image - nothing to add!

Re: In a world of his own

I got the telling off straight away. Your lad is going to be a great actor

I feel the same, just the lad on his own, or more of the mum shown. I think on his own would work great. My face has looked like that plenty of times as I get killed on COD MW2

Re: In a world of his own

Another great shot - I 'got' the mum straight away and how he's not listening as he's in a world of his own but I think either no mum (just him absorbed in his game) or more mum would work better.
