Battery Grip for Canon 40D
I'm thinking of getting a battery grip for my camera.
Canon make the BG-EN2 for the 40D which is a newer version of the BG-EN which I think was built for the 30D.
First question - can the BG-EN fit on a 40D as it's a bit cheaper than the BG-EN2
Also - Phottix BP-40D seems to crop up and is about a 1/3 of the cost - does anybody know anything about these ?

Know nothing about them but if they or a supplier have a money back if not happy sort of contract then you would only be risking the postage should you not be happy with it.
Never bought a battery grip for a Cannon so cannot comment further
EDIT: yes I can say something further, if you buy with a credit card I believe you can return anyway if the goods are not of the expected quality/use, or not as expected.
