Fieldfare
It felt quite wintery this morning with a heavy frost and frozen puddles.
Went out into the garden and bang on queue - the fieldfares have arrived to enjoy all the old apples.

Another cracking shot Phil. I did see a blue tit today, but apart from that all the blackbirds, sparrows robins, even a lot of the wood pigeons have gone

One ive still to get a decent photo of, there is a continental cold spell coming so should push birds like thrushes, brambling and hopefully waxwings over here.

Thanks for the comments folks.
There's so many apple trees over the wall (which just get left) and the fieldfares seem to arrive each year knowing there's a bounty to be had over the winter.
