Altering midtones

Just thought I would share this technique with you. I have used it for some time now and it does take a little getting used to but works a treat. I also use something similar in LAB.
Here Is a tutorial I came across on youtube. He explains it really well. Check out his other tutorials (only had time to look at a couple but they are good) as he is good and explains things really well.

Thanks Jonni, that will come in handy. I'm not a big photoshop user, but I must start to learn more about some of the techniques used.
