Re: AA Batteries

Worth mentioning to get the best out of rechargeable batteries it is worth having a proper charger/discharger. I had several chargers with thermal protection, so-called 'intelligent' etc. and always the batteries seemed to never last that long.

A year or so back I saw a good multi charger at Aldi with LCD display, discharge facility etc. and it is brilliant. It properly shows the state of charge etc. and my batteries are much better. It was about £15, yet a very similar looking model with another brand name on it is over £30. Keep an eye out, Aldi occasionally sell this in their weekly promotions once or twice a year.

Re: AA Batteries

I have heard excellent things about the eneloop rechargeable batteries. They last for months between charges and are supposed to be very good in speedlights.
I plan to get some from Amazon soon.
