I told you!
High shutter speed, and find a dark-ish background to bokeh, this will make the lighter coloured raindrops stand out more.

I do remember that one Azz - but no it wasn't.

I think it may have been entered back in the early days of subject of the week but I'm not sure.

I've never shot the rain before, Phil, but if I was going to, then I'd certainly use manual focus, shoot in to the Sun (would help accentuate the rain) and depending on the effect you were after, use a fast shutter speed as MD suggested, to capture it as you see it, or a slower one to make the rain drops appear longer. And just mess about with aperture as well to get the desired effect you are after.

I think I may have a go today, just drying out from walking the dogs, and it is coming down really heavy So today would be a good day to try
