Anybody manage the Perseids Meteor Shower ?
Not really my thing in terms of photography if I'm honest but I thought I'd see if I could snatch a shot during the Perseids Meteor Shower.
Last night was wet and cloudy and tonight I forgot all about it till I was out with the dogs at 11:30 and WOW !
20 mins later I had the gear set up but the wispy clouds had moved in. Living in the country (no light) and a clear view to the North East I figured if things improved up I'd be in with a chance but no luck so far in catching one.
The stuff is still all set up but I think I'll knock it on the head.

Living on an estate in the Midlands no chance...cloudy rain clouds all night. Have an interest in such stuff but it gets frustrated.

Well I was in the middle of an estate lying on my trampoline at 10:30pm Thursday night with my boys and saw quite a few.
They were really beautiful with big sparkly tails.
Didn't even try to photograph them though.
