If you could photograph anything - what would it be?

It could be a person, a building, an animal... anything!

What would you like to photo and why?

My "from the gut" answer -- the Earth (from the perspective of the moon). Why? Because I'd be on the moon; how cool would that be?

Mmm that changes daily

Today.... A Film Set, love films, so would love to be a photographer on a film set. Of a director I admire like Ridley Scott, Tim Burton or Martin Scorsese . Recently discovered the photographs of Mary Ellen Mark, photographs you instantly recognise, but I never knew who took them.

That would be a dream job.

Snow Leopards in Nepal, beautiful scenery, beautiful big cats, and definitely a huge challenge as they're so shy!

Re: If you could photograph anything - what would it be?

A few years back I trekked across the moor, up Trow Gill from Clapham to join the Bradford Pothole Club's annual winch meet for the descent into Gaping Gill. For those who don't know, this is the largest cave in the UK. Fell Beck plunges 360ft. to the floor of the chamber which is reputed to be big enough to hold York Minster. Nelson's Column, by comparison is only 169ft. The cave is floodlit for this event and is a truly awe inspiring sight. The sound of the waterfall crashing into the cave completely drowns out normal conversation and you can feel the vibrations through your feet. This trip was all the more memorable because the beck started to flood from the previous days heavy rain. When this happens the water flows over the edge of the entrance and exiting the cave can only be achieved by being hauled through a heavy curtain of water and the consequent soaking. Wouldn't you just know, I didn't have a camera with me and I would dearly love to photograph that waterfall. Sadly, it's not going to happen, I am no longer fit enough to hike up the moor, so I don't have any pictures but my memory is still sharp.

You might think that for the first hour...maybe 2...!Mind you most jobs on film sets are pretty much, stand...wait... wait and then major flurry of action for 3-4 mins...and then all change round...the photograpgher has to get EVERYTHING!

Mine....well...I really can;t think of one thing...but...I am psyched about going to Oz!
