Wedding shots and some questions.

Hi My friends wedding was on saturday and wasn't it gorgeous!!

My Two daughters were bridesmaids.. (here with their brother)

Can anyone help with suggestions on how to remove the light and on one photo I have what looks like a Halo round the brides head!! it was difficult as it was so sunny. so is there an easy way in CS3 to get rid of it?
I love this one >

Re: Wedding shots and some questions.

I am not an expert but some times something as simple as increasing the black in levels will take that foggy look away and then you can lighten or brighten afterwards. Any small bits of flare can be removed with the burn tool or you could stamp from a clear area.

Love the one you do, bet you were very proud.

Re: Wedding shots and some questions.

Hayley, just taken the first shot and done the following, used burn on the bits of flare on the bush, used dodge on the lads suit to bring out the blue, treated the whole image with soft light at about 37%, light sharpen and I think it has improved it a little.

Re: Wedding shots and some questions.

Try the burn tool like Snapper suggests, or failing that the clone tool might help

Re: Wedding shots and some questions.

Just had a play with it I don't think the burn tool will do a lot! but the clone stamp was quite good but took a while!

Re: Wedding shots and some questions.

Haley - you can remove that lens flare using a graduated ND filter in PS.

I think you've done well, and they are pleasing shots, lovely looking kids too - that first one is so full of life!
