Where's photography been taking you lately?

Been anywhere interesting lately?

I know some of you regularly visit wildlife parks / bird sanctuaries etc, so thought it might be good to get a thread up recommending decent places to visit for photography or to just share where our hobby has been taking us!

Good thread. I've been a few good places recently - most notably Killarney Park yesterday - with a bit of Glengarriff thrown in - back there next weekend. Mostly I don't stray too far from home, as it's so wonderful here! Am hoping to get to Achill at the end of Summer.

Unfortunately just at home due to my back,head/leg but hopefully fingers crossed will be going to Southern Spain in October and will definitely take my camera there. May still not be walking much but hopefully my friend will take me to some great places.

I've not been anywhere for ages - just not had the chance and the few times when I could have gone somewhere it's been pouring with rain. All I've managed of late are some butterfly pictures in the garden.

I did sneak my compact camera to Old Trafford but that doesn't really count.

You might have noticed I took a trip to the Cambridge Botanical Gardens. It was a lovely place to visit with lots to photograph.
5 minute walk from the train station so easy to get to.

I'd love to say that my photography is taking me places but since Uni broke up, apart from obviously weddings, its been taking me to the Maldives lol and around town for a uni project (although the Maldives has kind of become the project purely because when I got there I realised the potential - I'm not going to pretend I went there for any reason other than total relaxation lol!)
Its also taking me to Cardiff Mardi Gras at the end of the month for a project, but no where amazing at the moment, ask me in a month's time!

The Maldives is pretty amazing missus! I'd love to go abroad! Not much chance at the moment though. I miss proper holidays - last one was the school exchange in yr 8! :/

Am hoping to do certian bits of Spain and France next year - I have an agenda where that's concerned. More than anything I want to go back to Lappland and Westmannland too.

Not been out anyway for a while The last place was Loch Lomond but that was just a family day out and with P&S. We did plan to go back up to Glenmore but the weather was too bad to make a day of it up there

Ive been knowhere for a good while. I did go to Wales this weekend, but wasnt over happy with the shots I took, I really NEED a 100-400mm lens!! I enjoyed using "camelia" again, and hope to do more now things are more settled again.

I wondered why you hadn't posted much Dawn! I miss your wild life shots... you will have to find some new places to go or revisit some old ones

I really wish I had more time to go out and about, I'd love to visit a bird sanctuary - I'm smitten by all your owl pics!
