I agree with 99% of what's already been said - I do appreciate critique - but a lot of it is in how it's approached. There's no need to be mean to people IMO. I also love the I Like It comments - and there are times when I've a photo I am happy with *as it is* and I don't want a critique really - or rather - I'm happy to have critiques, but probably have no intention of acting on them

At uni I take it very well from Tutors, or from people who's work I admire, but I don't like it if someone just says "i don't like it" they have to tell me why and possibly have some suggestions about what does and doesn't work for me to take their opinions to heart.
