But why would he have the details before anyone else? He's 'just' a forum admin at the end of the day. Even if he did have official info, he would be under a NDA so wouldn't be allowed to publish.

Now that the 8th has gone, and no announcement, the 17th is being touted on several sites (even though originally the 18th was the next big day)

New battery, new grip

2600 Euros
Pretty much the same as a couple of posts ago, except the addition of Video.
It's been said that Canon are running around in a panic because all the original NDAs run out on the 12th (yes tomorrow) and Canon are trying to extend them all.
There is a picture of the alleged new 5Dmk11, but I've seen so many fakes I think I would rather wait until the 17th (6am wasn't it) to see for myself.
There are still a few people standinig by a 23rd Photokina release date.

?DJ - I wasn't sure if you were or not.
Azz - (You had to get Nikon in didn't you) Radiohead's pics are amazing but with the same lenses / lighting / know how - your D300 would do the same

I would like to keep my 40d as a bird/wildlife cam (400mm f5.6 attached permantly) and the 5d MKII for landscapes etc. However, if the 5d MKII has similar FPS to the 40d and will auto focus with the 1.4X teleconvertor on my 400mm f5.6, then I might just sell the 40d.

Alan wants a current-model Canon FF (not nesc for all the bells n whistles), least that's what I thought he meant. Although I'm sure he wouldn't say no to a few extra toys
