You should have nicked the bike while he wasn't looking.
This is a tricky one as they are both good in their own way. Personally I'll go for the first one. The bike and the cop looks better. The brickwork doesn't stand out so much.

I like them both, but............ The first is a bit lacking in detail,and the second is perhaps a little overstated. If you have Photoshop try the Shadows/highlight filter on the original.
