ANOTHER lens question! :)

Hey everyone ok so I have another question. For my college work Im doing a brief on nature and last week went to Chester Zoo to take some pics, however I forgot my 55-200 lens and was stuck with my 18-55.
Ive added a pic as an example , its a rubbish pic but anyway.. how much more do you think I could zoom in on the same object with a 200mm? Im thinking about going back before I have to hand my work in to see if I can get any better pics, but it wouldnt be worth it if my bigger lens wasnt much better

Pic Example at maximum zoom [55mm]

Kit 1
Nikon D60
Nikkor 18-55mm VR
Nikkor 55-200mm VR
Nikkor 60mm f/2.8G ED Macro

You would be able to zoom in almost 4x as close with the 200mm as oppose to your 55mm. I would certainly go back and have another go, taking the longer lens this time

Re: ANOTHER lens question! :)

I'd say forget Chester Zoo and go here:

http://www.wildanimalpark.co.uk/wildlifepark_home.asp

A lot of the animals are that close you don't need to zoom!! But with the 200mm you'd get some cracking shots for any nature project, a lot of them uncluttered by fences.
Kit 1
Nikon D700

Nikon AF-S 24-70mm f/2.8
