Photography With Lights

Just wondering how best can you take photographs of things such as a funfair at night, or lights at Christmas etc? Always comes out with a line across for me!

Re: Photography With Lights

I would say increase the ISO for moving objects

And increse the shutter time for stationary items

(Assuming these are being taken in low light)

Re: Photography With Lights

perrodeagua,

It all depends on what you want to achieve.

Do you want to capture the lights with no motion?.....freeze them so to say. Have a look at this article.

Or do you want to capture the light in a blured fashion?....light is moving so to say.
Have a look at this article.

Either way you go, I would recommend a tri-pod.

Good luck to you, look forward to seeing the results.
