A few tarantulas

Nice pics KitKat, just thinking that I read somewhere that they don't spin webs, but after looking it up, find they do produce silk to decorate their little houses and to inform them of prey passing by. I have seen one or two in the wild, they are not aggressive and will avoid you if possible.

Beautiful colouring of the tarantulas up close, I was also not aware that they spun a web. Nice to see the different angle shots.

Yes they make webs on the floor of their burrows or hides. Some make hardly any web and some make giant web castles to detect their prey. I have a few videos around of them eating/catching prey. Will have to get them up on youtube
