Tribute To A Hero

I took the photo of the veteran I ate with last Thursday and made a post card from it. What do you think?

I like it Bob but in all honesty - you've come up trumps and captured all that needs to be said in the photograph itself.

The reason I went with a postcard including Ton's photo is because the church group that throws these monthly luncheons announced that next month's "theme" was post cards from the past and I wanted to present this card as my entry.

Remember Phil, a lot of these posts represent practice sessions using Photoshop CS5 and OnOne Software's Photoshop Plug-in Suite.

Ah............ I didn't know why you were going down the postcard route.

Fingers crossed your 'post cards from the past' entry does you proud as it's a cracking image.

Thanks for understanding. I'm slowly building a relationship with the people of this church. I'm moving slowly as I don't wish to offend as I just love the opportunity to photograph people in a small area that have a lot of character in their faces. For example:

Remember, years ago I was a professional wedding/portrait photographer. I love expressive faces.

Bob, a poignant reminder of what it takes to maintain our freedoms. Great postcard.

Also like the other faces of wisdom and experience.
