best settings

Hi

can someone please tell me the best settings to have the camera on for moving objects,

It depends on the time of day, the lens used, the light .....I don't think you can give a definitive answer to the question really ..BICBW

The only option that comes to mind is perhaps an auto focus mode that is useful for moving objects - my camera has one but I'm not sure all do. Might be worth checking out the manual

Thanks guys, the manual for this camera is not in laymans terms, so the book gets puched to one side,
